Thanks for the compliment. We are a new board, only up since February. If you have any suggestions as to how we can improve let us now. Also if you'd care to share your pond and fish with us we'd be glad to get to know them.

Ian, when my mum used to say I was "special", either she wanted me to do something she knew I didn't want to do, or was politely telling me to "f-o". Sometimes it was a combination of both.

How about a flea-market/classified/barter/free-to-good-home section ?

WEll i would love to tell you about my pond but i am in "transistion" i had nothing special just a 10'10' 2.5 deep pond i had a few nice koi in. See i rent as of now so never built a pond for me. I have built many ponds for customers but not one for myself. My koi family are in Los Angeles at my dads house till we buy a house next summer.. hopefully, when i will dig the biggest pond i can afford.

n2h20 perhaps you could start a thread talking about your plans. Lots of info to share and ideas well they spread like wildfire.

We are always interested in pond builds :) it is always handy for newbies to know what is required to keep Koi, also it shows some of us , :frisbee: including me where we went wrong on our builds, so any info you wish to share would be gratefully received :)
