Hey everyone, i'm looking far a place to buy a quantity to oyster shells to buffer my PH, and hopefully help clear my pond

Louis, how are you going to use them. I remember Graham Hawkins of KV doing an experiment with them and he needed 200 lbs of them.
The use of oyster shells in a pond is when the water is acitic and has a ph of 7 or lower to work. The low ph is what dissolves the oyster shells to buffer the water. Your around the great lakes and we no need no oyster shells. Regular water changes is all that you need on the buffering part of ponding here.

i read a thread where it will buffer against a possible ph crash during the winter.
currently i sit at 7.5-8 with no swings.
i was going to place them in a tank i use to collect water, after the filter, and before i pump it into the pond.
