I am thinking about building a new water garden near the front of the house, really less of a pond more of a "wet" garden with a fountian. Something small....the space I have is under my window and try as I might to get plants to grow there it never seems to work well...so I thought a garden might look nice.

Any how.....I was thinking about some sort of wall mount fountain or something to flow into the water garden spot....any ideas? Thanks

Several ideas spring to mind.

A small preform could be used as the base or liner, they sell preformed waterfalls now and they are probably on sale at the local pond places. Planting it up depends on the sunshine available. Also not sure how close to thehouse you were planning to put it but I'd keep it a few feet out so as to not impact on the foundation.

Another option is a pondless waterfall, where instead of the 'pond' part the holding tank is just used to recycle the water for the falls. May be very nice outside the window.

Before I put the boat pond in the front garden, I had a wishing well that I had built. I put a large tub inside and then fed a small pump up to the bucket, my neighbours were always comenting on how nice it looked. The clemitis I had growing over it added to the look of it too. :)
