View Full Version : back to the mud
This year I have decided to return several different varieties of younglings back to the mud so that I can continue to study their development. Should be interesting to revisit them in the spring.
Here is the first. Will continue to post them as they are chosen.

Keifer, for clarification these are still the April 05 spawn babies? That one is very very nice!!
Thanx Ian
Surface temps dont usually dip below 48 to 52 degrees. These are deep ponds say 10 to 12 feet deep, so bottom temps probably dont drop below 59 to 62 degrees.
Yes Jackie this is one from the April spawning. I have probably half a pond to go through yet. Never enough time! Its a large pond though so they will be fine until I get to them.
