Plant ideas

I want something pretty that can take up to 12 inches of water. I have two large pots in my pond with nothing in them but dirt right now and want to fill them. I am having problems finding something...I already have a few lilies and would like something unique. Thanks for any ideas.

Lotus spring to mind. You can put more than one kind of plant it a pot, same as a land planter. Something upright, something bushy, something trailing. The fomula is the same.

I have a pot that has yellow flag, papyrus, black taro, rain lily and parrot feather.
