The following plumbing parts are available at most every hardware store because of the demand in home construction. Many of the parts below can be found in your home however I would not suggest removing them from your home to apply to your pond :-P . Allen

Ball Valves used to shut off and regulate water flow

Oatey 2" Shower Drains used as fittings to go thru flat or round plastic and can easily be reduced or enlarged avoiding the high dollar bulkhead fitting which can range from $25 on up.

Oatey 4" level fit closet (toilet) flange used as fittings to go thru flat or round plastic and can easily be reduced or enlarged avoiding the high dollar bulkhead fitting for bigger pond applications.

Oatey 4" closet (toilet) flange spacer used to secure the closet flange in place making a much more reliable seal when running plumbing thru walls.

Good list Ozzy :wink: We used most of those pieces on the filter for the indoor tank. The hardware store gave a pretty strange look tho when I bought 7 shower drains :grin:

I hope Merlin saw this as he thought a ball valve was the big ball thing (probably valve) in the toilet that regulates the water level... !rofl
