Does anyone know where to get just a box without media in it?

Ordinarily, I'd just use a drum but since this is inside it needs to be prettier and I think I might have better odds on it not leaking too.

Any container can be used as a filter box or barrel. What size are you looking for, you say inside is this for a tank or a pond?

BTW the new plastic paints also mean anything can be colour co-ordinated

well a tank big enough to be a small pond. It's actually a series of three tanks I want to run on the same filter system...75 gallon, 150 gallon, and one 500 gallon..715 gallons total. If I do a standard barrel/bucket I think I'd need an odd sized one about 30 gallons. I was thinking though that a lot of the filters for ponds that size would be more compact?

Well the pressure filters are small but I'm not convinced they do all they are supposed to do and a real pita to clean. I have a bioforce 1,000 and it is smalland compact but as I said, I wouldn't want it to be my only filter for the 370 gallon pond. I run a strawberry pot TT as well as that and a mechanical filter.

Explain the setup you want a little better and maybe the diy guys will pop in with some ideas.

Well I'm not exactly sure how I want the setup. A 7x3'6" pond inside is just a big mess to begin with :-P All I've got so far is the filter systems need to be integrated or I'm wasting too much power. I'm not sure how the two smaller are going to flow into the big one. My peice of duct tape that shows where the edge is isn't enough to help me visualise. Especially since I haven't moved out the furniture
