I grew these sunflowers from seed, not as tall as I had hope for but with the lack of rain... well  But I like 'em, neat colour.

The birds must have brought these as I didn't plant them. Old fashioned sunflowers growing in 75% shade!!

Love the red sunflowers!! Haven't seen those before. Didn't grow my fluffy ones this year... and the birds must have ate all teh sunflower seeds as there is only one growing in the entire garden and normally the bird garden is fulll of them...

BTW don't let that blue one go to seed.... its one of the most aggressive plants it should be on the weed list. pretty in bloom but ...

Yeah, well I have pleanty of room as well and trust me, I'd like to have a variety of plants... nasty thing, I'm pulling it all the time. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a free 'gift' with theplants I gave you  eachlittle bell gives off thousands of seeds... thousands and thousands of seeds.

At the moment there are only two of these plants, and I would like more but if I have to start pulling them up that's no big deal.

Terri, you are more than welcome to come here and dig up as many as you can find  They also spread by runners under the ground and the bits of roots become new plants in no time.

Wow, those are beautiful, I guess the red sunflower catches my eye also. Never knew there was such a thing as a red one, Thought they were all yellow like the second one posted. What a quality picture also, very sharp.

VERY NICE!!!
