I had Heiko stop by the store for 2 cans of tomatoe sauce. He brought back a lot more! We have a temp fix now for adding shade to our pond. He found a side pole umbrella that is 10' x 10' . It is awesome! It matches our motif as well as it is hunter green. I had ordered some greenhouse shade fabric but it hasn't come in yet. We needed to get some shade over the shallow end as the temps are really climbing in the afternoon. We are going to build a pergola to cover the entire pond. This will get us by until we start on it. I think the pergola will have to wait until it cools off if Heiko wants me to help! I go from the cool a/c in the house to the cool a/c to my shop and that is it!
He did bring home a couple more Cast Iron Garden benches as well. We have 3 of the big ones and now one more. We now have a Grandchild bench also. I did snap a pic of it as well. Here are the pics. Click on the folder that is titled "New Umbrella and benches".

saw a the same umbrella here at a Menard's and told my Hubby that that's what we needed but he didn't seem to think it would look right just sitting out by the pond, I may need to change his mind !bonk

That's pretty handy and you got all that new stuff just for sending him for tomato sauce? !wow!
Is the base heavy enough so it doesn't topple in the wind?
If you're in contact with Brett, tell him he needs to put some new pics of his fish on his site

Jackie now how can you refuse 3 terrific reasons for coming? The band will be the Fondue Monks out of Houston. That is the website I sent you to that has their music on it. Since I am Pres of their Fan Club
Marla show your hubby the pics of ours. Maybe that will change his mind! :)
Busy the base is pretty heavy but we have river rocks piled on one leg. Searching on the internet I foun out that the base is designed for 4 - 18" blocks to rest in. That way it will not blow down. You can also screw it into a deck for other uses. It is easy to put up and fold up. It has a strap that ties it all together when not in use. My MIL saw one at Sears for $99. The cheapest one I found on the internet was $200. One site cheapest was $930 - 1250!! We paid a whopping $77 for it :)

Pam send me the link again as I lost it when reorganizing things... I probably still have just don't know where I filed it.. they are a great group.
We are looking at putting a gazebo tent over the far patio. We have a market umbrella there now but it blows over a lot and breaks not only the shaft of the umbrella but the flowers... It has a heavy iron stand and I've even put rocks on the stand but it still falls down. This is when it isn't even up...

Cinn, I'M READY FOR A VACATION!
Rem, have the brew on ice and pull that ol Pontiac out of storage.
Ah the heck with it I'm putting in my 2 weeks notice and telling that jerk boss of mine to kiss my shinny side.
Anyhow hope things are going well for you and Heiko. Talk to ya soon. Allen
