If anyone gets Money sense mag, They have a article in the June addition on ponds and koi. My lovely wife is in the article and I have not seen it yet :(
Terri had to have her picture taken which she loved so much. Can't wait to see it, keep a look out for it.

Well I know it's out as I had a call yesterday about the article from a nice gentleman I don't know ... I suppose he has a subscription... I can't find the June/July issue yet either, maybe it doesn't come out until mid-June?

A star? A celebrity? Well gosh... I think Jackie can handle the spot light but I'm a shy flower... that photo shoot was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do(secretly I'm hoping the pics didn't turn out so my face won't be out there sitting in doctors/dentists offices and on peoples coffee tables... !wow! )

I went to Money Sense Magazine's website. I sent an email requesting a copy of the June/July issue and the reason I wanted the copy. I will let you know what they send back :)

Hey i finally got a copy. The gist of the article was Hooked on fish. The author describes the addiction in my case about backyard fish ponds. A lovely picture of Terri holding one of my favorite koi, an old picture I took of some koi. Dayleen from Okanagan koi in BC was quoted in the article as well. Pretty exciting for me and I hope she remembers me when shes famous. I'll or we will have to con Terri into posting the article on the board for all to read. I"ll see if I can get her to post Jackies article from the newspaper also as it was really cool.

Wow....how bizarre!! I didn't know there was anyone else in the article but me. I can't think of anyone else i would rather see quoted than Terri and/or Ian. You'll get no nonsense, straight up info from either of them.

I only worry about being quoted in that you're actually being quoted word for word and not the lovely miss-quotes writters are famous for. I didn't say anything like (quoted as saying) Koi are a type of Goldfish did i ????? I would be horrified :lol:

:-) Dayleen, "we" know what we said, misquotes are a given.. the editor even called me to confirm what I had said and they still did not print "exactly" what I my replies were to the author. I had asked Greg(the author) who else he had spoken to but all he would let me know was "a business man in the industry". Funny too because called me back a few times and he asked me if there was anyone else I could recommend he speak with and asked about other Canadian companies, you Dayleen were one of the people(businesses) I mentioned :grin: That's what made me smile when I saw your name in print! (I mentioned you to Jackie but he said my comments would do... :rolleyes: )
