I finished these yesterday and wanted to post a pic for ya'll to see. These are for cigarette butts. I didn't want anything plain. They had to be heavy enough not to have the wind blow them over. I tinted some concrete and put in the bottoms. Heiko came up with the idea of the little tea light candles in the bottom. It looks awesome at night. These were made of scrap wood. I designed it and built it. The receptical is a plastic Folger's coffee container. I have sand in them. No one knew where to toss their butts haha.

These look terrific, and for us non-smokers plants would fit perfectly on top!!!

Jackie we also have a sundial Heiko's Mom bought us some time ago. I never built a stand for it. I guess I was waiting for this now  I will make one and sit the sundial on top. The size is perfect. The sundial has a wonderful patina finish on it.

Ozzy does the job include travel??? !rofl I have been known to produce some pretty good trim also :)

Well aren't you clever! Those are great...multi use and functional...now I know what you've been up to

Sure beats the old butt bucket

A stand for a sundial is a good thing. I stepped on ours and not only stabbed my foot quite nastily, but broke the sundial as well...

Jackie ouch!! We lit the tea light candles last night as we had company from Wisconsin come down. They really looked kewl! When she walked around back and saw the pond she gasped. She said the pics doesn't do it justice.

Pictures seldom do justice to most things. I seem to look old and fat in most of mine and everyone who knows me, knows I'm young and good looking

Jackie I KNOW that feeling! I see pics of me and say THAT IS HORRIBLE! Do I look that bad. I then add I don't look old when I look in the mirror! !rofl

Love the PLANT STANDS, I bet it looked beautiful with the candles lit.

I don't like to look at pic's and I'm getting picky about which mirror I I use for makeup etc.

Jackie count me in on that one! I have never figured out how to put makeup on wearing glasses! I just have to guess that the eye liner is straight.

I'm considering laser surgery for my eyes. I can read without glasses so apparently am a good canditate. Now all I need is the money and some courage.

That's scary, I don't know if I could do it. I've thought of it but would still have to wear glasses for reading. I know several people who have had great success and one who now has blurry vision all the time now. Isn't there a new method where a ring of some type is inserted and can be removed ... no permanent uncorrectable surgery?
