Doc (d-a-y, D-e, D-i, Diddly Di...)

Hey all, still filling and working out the bugs,
i put 3 3" koi in to start the cycle, and some plants
slowly training the fish (curly, larry and moe)
to eat at the surface
(starting a ring today, to keep the food together)

still black liner, no green just DOC's starting
usually water changes take care of this, but
i still have 4-500 gal to add.

will they clear up on thier own?

Brand new pond right? I'm guessing your DOC's are just the crud coming off the liner as you filled it...brown foamy stuff or white? Even with a new liner seems some dirt and assorted gets washed into the pond as it's filling.

Do you have the plants, planted in soil?

just floating plants so far..
i'm building a terra cotta shelf in the middle of the pond
for plants to sit on...
the bubbles are just that, foam like clear


the alphabet song... curly, larry & moe...
