I like that Bonnie :-) it's gonna look very nice...

Love the suculent(spelling?) bowl - wait that's a birdbath! Cool.

Thanks Terri !
The bridge is going to go over our DIY skimmers, it should hide them well.

DH and DD gave me the birdbath 2 years ago. It's metal so I don't like to leave water in it for the birds because it rusts alittle. So I thought what better way to use it!
I think once it fills in some, it will look fairly nice. Hopefully........

I love the little succulent garden. Mine needs to be redone.. a cold wet winter and most of the poor things are dead. Several of yours look to be house varieties. Will you take it inside?

Thanks Jackie, yes it's small so I'll take it in for the winter. Here's the others which I planted last fall around the pond.

Oh sedums in driftwood one of my favourites.. Smith hollowed out some old gnarled lilac limbs for me and I planted them up with different sedums. Again the wet winter seems to have killed off a lot of them... along with a few others.

If folks are looking for good plants to grow in the rocks around the pond sedums can't be beat. I have a few different ones around the waterfall. I'll have to get a close up pic of them but here's one that shows how well they can soften the edges.

You're in big trouble now Bonnie

Love the bridge!
How many people is it going to take to move it? ..looks heavy!

The driftwood is wonderful...you've gone and inspired another project!

I just moved my hens and chicks back to the pond..knew they wouldn't make it outside so have them planted in asst. stuff. Really like the driftwood idea tho..

That's a beautiful pic Jackie! Sedums are one of my favorites..noticed the "angelina" died out more this year tho...bummer.

Love that pix Jackie!
What's the blooming plant on the right? I LIKE!

Busy 3 of us moved the bridge, It's really not that heavy.
I just recently bought Angelina along with a few others.

3 people...that's not bad! And where are the pics of it in place Missy?

Angelina was sooo cool...love varigated stuff anyway. It made it a couple years just fine but got buried by the snow coming off the roof of the greenhouse and I think that's what led to it's demise...I see younger ones that look like they will make it and it roots really easily so you can spread it around

Bonnie the two plants in flower are the big purple one is a tree peony and the smaller picnk is a hardy geranium, hot pink flowers with an almost lime green leaf, very pretty and very prolific... named after a woman but I'm brain dead and can't remember the name. Lois??? The tree peony is an unnamed variety bought years ago when they first became available and moved to this house.

Now what is Angelina and do I need some?

Jackie I thought the leaf on that plant looked like a hardy geranium but the flowers look different than the varieties that I've seen before.

Sedum Angelina, is more of a golden color. This is my first year with it... I really like the color of it.

Here's the first place that I can across when I did a search for it. This will give you an idea of what it looks like.

I have a similar one but it is a blue/green and blooms pink (I believe) although it may be yellow. I'll have to take better notes.

Also a pic of the lilac truck with the holes showing, waiting to be replanted with sedums. My sorry looking sedumpot again waiting for some attention. The lava rock in there was brought from Mount Etna in Italy.

Yes it is a tufa pot, only 9.99  bought a couple of years ago.

Please send me some Angelina. Is it not hardy? Doesn't matter as I bring in so much now... what is another pot.
