Today i returned both GG and Tweet to the pond. I will say that they acted like they had indeed been away on a bad dream and accepted the change or perhaps embraced is the word.

Very nice, can you post a picture of the yellow koi in the first picture that is on the bottom of the picture? I would like to see that one in a better picture.

Tom, here he is. Over the winter he started having metallic scales show up down his back. He is one of GG's babies and I think the father was Sweet, gone now.

The fish, no contest!!!
Funny, Tweet was eating this morning and as he munched down he came to hand and took a big mouthfull but he suddenly realized it was my hand, gave me the old evil eye and you got it, splashed me... ungrateful thing... Maybe next winter he can stay outside.
Off to the studio now but will pull Spice this afternoon and take some pics of his side etc. See if we can't get him fixed up. He sure is unhappy being left all alone inside.

Oh no thank you. The inside pond will be closed for the summer as soon as I get Spice outside. I did play with the idea of buying some Wakin to put in there to spur us on to getting the next pond built but have decided I'll wait until the pond is built. They will be the only fish so no Qing necessary.
Hey Jackie
I look at that big ol butterfly and all I can think is......spoilled spoilled spoilled!

GG is spoiled for sure. Only 24 hours out into the big pond and has managed to hit me up for two extra handfuls of food... fortunately she left the hand but did take a finger.

Mind you I have some thinning out to do before I purchase anymore Koi, Know anyone that wants a couple of 20" ghost Koi and a few large Goldies  .

Well Spice is also now out with his buddies. I think I should hire some one to come and handle the fish for me. No matter how careful I think I am being they end up with more boo boos than when they started. Netted 3 outside and 2 got salt baths and just examined and scraped another. Forgot to do the scrape before dumping the fish into the salt baths. Its just a bit of fin rot so hopefully the 30 minute salt at 0.8 and some iodine is all they need.
Although I feel bad the the bleeding at the gills and Spices new bruises, everyone came for food

Hey, even some Tancho's... don't sell them to Luke :frisbee: Too bad you don't ship out of country. Certainly nicer than any I've seen for sale locally.
