Hi folks , WE have had a water garden club for 11 years now .We have over 100 members ,and meet the first wednesday of every month .We have two or three garden tours ,and a summer barbeque,and an xmas party every year .We dont have koi shows but we have fun .At our meetings,we discuss water gardening ,pond problems,and have guest speakers .Our site (under construction) is ...www,watergardenclubofbc I can be reached via this board for any info.

Jack - good to hear the club is doing very well. Just wondering what you use as source for speakers - do use mostly local commerical pond business people, members or do you bring in speakers from other areas?

Is the club aimed mainly at water-gardeners (plants are the key) or do you also have members that are really into koi?

Hi WAYNE..Re youre questions,,We have a member that looks after guest speakers.Usually landscape design/balancing youre garden/ecology/ pond building and maintenance/water testing/etc.We are into ponds with plants or without .A few are avid koi keepers but water gardening is our theme.
