Hello, What do you do with the mosquito in the filters. I have two garbage bins for filters with lids. Today when I opened the lids there was an army of mosquito that charged out. I will have a garden hose next time to spray them down. Home Depot has some treatments for standing water to prevent mosquito, has anybody try that in a pond?

Silly question but are you sure they are misquitoes? Misquitoes like standing water not moving water, it is very rare to find them in any type of moving water. Now filter gnats (I am sure they have a proper name) are smaller than skeeters and do not bite. They are the hatchings of some of the wildlife that lives in the ponds and filters.

I've never read about misquito dunks hurting fish so you'd be safe to use them, not that our dear MP would recommend them if they were not fish safe.
