Just thought I would post some pictures of my friend John's gold fish. He has had this fish for 25 years and it is totally blind and has a deformed mouth. She ...I think it is a she.....always knows when someone is there and is very friendly. Who says a fish can't be your best friend for a long time! Annie and all the critters on the farm.

Wow, that is a long time...... was it always that color or has it changed over the years. We had one indoors that changed color, the kids named it Houdini it out grew the aquarium and as we didn't have a pond we gave it to the petstore for trade....sad to see it go but couldn't see it couped up in the small aquarium we had it in.

Annie, 25 years that's a very long time for a fish living in a household your friend John must have taken great care of that goldfish, :yesyes: you know that when you loose one of your uses given to you it's gained somewhere else, :yup: like my dad he's blind in one eye and has only 5% sight in the other and same thing goes for his hearing but his sense of directions, smell and feel you can't pull one over him he just knows it and that amaizes me. :-)

Annie, Goldfish are so easy to take care of - My experience has shown them to be far more hardier than koi, still, your friend must be doing something right... 25 years, that's amazing!

Thanks for sharing Annie. Most people are not aware how long goldfish can and do live with good care :)

Whitey gets the odd gold scale now and then.....but most of the time she is white.....Its nice Marla that you remember all your fish...I am still trying to remember what I did Yesterday! Where is spring? Annie and all the critters on the farm

Annie, spring is around the corner, it was much much warmer today. I went out this evening and just came back it's so nice outside I will be quite happy if it stays this way but if we get 70* I would take that in a heartbeat.

Definately spring is coming, saw a few sprigs of green peeping up in the garden today. Snow and cold will not stop the plants, they are ready.

Spring is definitely in the air, my parents want me to start some painting tomorrow morning, what a bummer! I was hoping just to take it easy and do nothing all weekend.

Well the rain took down the snow a little.........But there is still alot of snow around here.! There are no fish insight yet....Shoes & Socks and Bizzy are sitting on the bench watching the opening in the ice...all the cats walk on the ice and drink the water! And last but not least Bizzy planning his escape with the mailman....sleeping away on the dashboard! I cannot wait for the first fish sighting....it keeps me going! Big hello to everyone ....love is the word! Annie and all the critters on the farm!

Most cats don't like cars but I see your's is the exception. How much did you pay the mailman to keep him???

Still snow and ice here as well Annie. But melting

Bizzy looks very cozy on the dash maybe it's because the defroster is on and the warmer air is very pleasing. :-)
