My first lily of the season opened this morning, Spring is here ! That means I gotta get busy around here, or it will all get away from my as it did last year. I'm still off work, the new knee is 6 weeks old ... time to see what it can do.

That's just plain old Pink Attraction ... I think. Mdm W. Gonnere should open tomorrow or Sunday, the pond is really comming to life.

The knee is fine, the owner is stupid. I had a strenuous day in therapy Wednesday ... I pedeled the bike ALL the way around !strut frontwards and backwards and did calf lifts with 10 lb weights. Did I take it easy yesterday?? NO! Went lamp repairing and shopping with a friend , essentially "working" an 8 hour day. Barely made it through therapy today, which was just a mobilazation massage (OUCH) and a 10 min 1.5 MPH stroll on the treadmill. I can barely walk! Lesson learned listen to Jackie!!!

More spring ... You can see my lotus is sending up aerial pads, the lavander and ceanothus are doing their thing and and my digging fork waiting for me to gat back to it

Think that's the first time I've seen your backyard! Beautiful...I could do with all that heat and sunshine if my yard looked like that!

Leave that shovel where it is ...you need a hammock or a chaise lounge...I'd be sitting there for hours with a cold drink and a hat
