Hi Everyone! :wave: I went to Orlando, met alot of neat people and some not so...seen huge beautiful Koi and went to Cocoa beach. I had a blast but got an upper respiratory flu and man it kicked me right in the chest like an elephant.! :roll: Missed all last week of work and back this week still coughing and feeling somewhat uggy.
Waiting for some signs of spring here, it's barely 40* for the high and with the wind chills it's freezing. :( Hopefully, next week will start to warm up and the flowers will start to show up soon, I miss that so much.
This weekend will be 45 so my porch should be about 60*ish, I'm going to get my silk flowers out and sit out there, pretending works too... :lol: Nice cocktail, some friends and burn some lovely fragrant candles. You're all invited.

Nancy, !welcome Back!!!! Sorry to hear you've been ill, glad you're feeling somewhat better :-)

Gee, it's a blamy 8C out today, lovely really witht he sun shining! !rofl

If you've got pics from Orlando, we'd love to see 'em...

Got any scotch on that porch Nancy :D Sounds like a great idea. I make do with the greenhouse on sunny days, it was over 80F in there yesterday.

Terri, I'm moving to Newcastle. Its 30F here and the pond is icing over again, no sunshine for me!!!

Yer Kidding! Yesterday was great 10C according to my outside thermometer... the wind is chilly here but over all it's a nice day.

Yesterday I was able to take my coat off in the ghouse. Warmth...ahhhh.

Last couple days the wind was howling and the weather man predicts a storm...it's grey and crappy ...again...

So glad you had a good time in the sunshine...too bad you got sick.

I agree yesterday was wonderful, but today... that wind makes it feel like February.... brrrrr!!

Oh you two are freezing too..I was just outside and it's so cold I shutter to believe it's spring. It does'nt mean a thing, just that the season changed and the weather did'nt. :sad:

My porch is connected to the Greenhouse so I can open the door and feel the tropical heat escaping into my realm of fake summer. Scotch just might be on tonights shopping list Jackie. ;) I do have some pics, will post some in a bit, I posted some on the ADI board, heres a couple of those and I'll post some more later.

Yes Jackie, she was huge and about 5 yrs old I think they said..On Sunday I went back to check her out ( I think 'she') and Steve said she was $6,500. and I said "Oh, came down a grand from yesterday eh?" and he grinned, said "Is that what he told you yesterday?" ;)

Dont know if you gals want to see these two pics but they are of my dear friend Teffie and her fiance and then me at the pier over looking Cocoa beach, not very good pics but....what'da ya going to do...cant all be models. haha

It's coming!!! I have lily buds on the surface, if it would quit raining they might just open. Maybe I'll have "Easter Lily's" :()

Nancy, take care of that upper respiratoy bug, it can come back and bite you in the a** as pneumonia.

I agree about the bug Charla and stess is bad when you are sick :evil:

We had an inch of snow last nigh... normally I would have at least snowdrops showing now with crocus soon to follow... I need a crying smilie...

Never listen to the weatherman...for thier prediction of a huge snowstorm, we got dusted...not complaing mind you..now the roads are wet again..no reason to wash the car yet...all that salt in the sand tho is bad.
