Thanks for the welcome!!! I read a lot dont always contriute to these forums but mostly because i type too slow. We have an out door 250 gal pond for the summer months . Our 650 gal. indoor pond is our favorite. We have several Koi from japan thru a local dealer and a few butterfly koi. we are designing and hoping to start construction soon on a 2000 gallon indoor pond in another room in the basement. The old pond will become a settling chamber and a new 500 gallon water prep tank will get water aerated and purified for water changes. I hope to figure out how to post pics as all this takes place. i really enjoy the info and learning experiences of others on the forums. Thanks to all who share thier trial and error and successes they help us all alot . I will post more later but wanted to thank everyone for the welcome and hope to get to know you all better soon. Later JIM We may grow old but I refuse to Grow Up!

Growing up does take the fun out of things doesn't it?
You must have a big basement! Being from Iowa tho you get to enjoy your fish year round inside...sounds like the ideal!
Welcome again Jim!

Well Jim we look forward to hearing more about your pond plans. We already have some discussion on Mudsows inside pond, jump in and give us your thoughts. Inside ponds have their own special problems your experience would be welcome.
