Meds/ dosage/what they treat

What would you think if we had a sticky under Koi Health that listed Meds, Dosage and Uses. So people could go to one post to find info. The reason I mention this is that I have spent the last couple of days finding this info to put in a binder that I can keep pond side for when I need it. Maybe a list of the top 5 Meds & ointment available in Canada. What do you think ?

Good idea Peg...How about another forum of sorts dedicated to Meds and treatments leaving koi health to prevention,limitations and the what is happening to my fish type of threads. No need to stick things then as much no? we? See how good we are at making some good threads.....getting cold out :censored:

Go to it Peg,... under Koi Health 2 new forums.

Disease & Parasties: Idea is to start to run down a list of disease (viruses, fungus, bacterial, etc) and parasites, sort of a 'what it is' and symptoms list and hopefully photo's.

Medications & Treatment Protocals: pretty simple,... what works for what nasty and how to use. Treatment for minor bumps and scrapes can also be posted here.

:hi5: darn good idea :HAHA: wish I had thought of it. Well I did but I am NOT up to anything like that. Computers are why over my head. I know I would be greatful for a place to find all that info. in one spot. Thanks for thinking of it then doing it. sooooooooo cool.

What will be helpful for us ponders is for the experience ones to show us how to use the equipment like a scope to do a scrape test and so on. Nothing beats hands on showing on what to do as some of us aren't very good with instructions and learn a lot faster by watching how it's done properly.

I will and when we all have learned how things are done properly then we can buy the scope and other things from her, depending on what supplies is available at her store. :yup:
