I semi-retired at the young age of 40 when I closed up my business and moved to Canada to get married and start a new life. I am happily married and it will be 5 years in Oct 2005! Me thinks she is happy too. Well at least she still puts up with the likes of me. LOL Oh BTW we met on the net. So yes it does work! But any relationship can! "ONLY if both parties are willing to work at it and communicate."

I have restored a few cars and even built a few Harleys over the years. Not that I am old be any means! Just don't ask the MRS - she will tell you other wise and I am only 45. BTW she is soon to be 43 :-P so there. LOL

I enjoy Ponding, Gardening, Building and/or Fixing things. I like hleping people if I can. Oh I truly enjoy a nice ride with my SWEETHEART out in the country side. The other woman the MRS aproves of. LOL Yes! The MRS and I also love driving around the country side together as well.

To help keep me busy, I design and build Old Style Log bridges, soon I hope to offer log beds as well. I design and build ponds and rock gardens when I have oders. It is something to help keep me out of trouble and off the streets - as my mom use to say.

Since we moved here in 2001 I have made a few changes and I am still working on a some projects around the house. NO not honey-do list! LOL
I make it hard enough on myself with all I want to do or get done. The Mrs does not add to it. Heck she would like me to slow down at times.
Some of the changes and on going porjects can be seen at:

Here are some pictures of me over the years:
(If anoyne would like to see some of my restoration work, just let me know. I did not want to bore everyone by posting them now. As not everyone would be interested. LOL)

This was me shortly out of high school. It was my first Harley I was building it myself. I had just finished painting it. I had started to put it together. It is a 1946 45 Flathead Harley Trike. Or also known as a police or metermaid trike.

This was me when I lived in Colorado. I owned my 3rd business by now. It was a patented stripping process; which could strip wood, metal and even fiberglass without damaging them. The Harley below was my 3rd if not 4th by then I think. I built it from parts I found at swap meets and bike shops. It took me about 6 to 8 years to complete. Finding the engine, I just had to have, in good shape was the hardest and longest part of it all. A 1968 shovelhead. I did all the stripping and cleaning of the parts before they got their finish, paint or powdercaoting. Yes I used it as advertising. :D Got to write some of it off on my taxes too.
I rebuilt both the front and rear end. After the bike shop built the engine and tranny for me I placed them in the frame, wired the entire thing and set it all up. I tuned it and just had to take it out on a test run before it was completely finished. :D

If you look close enough, at either picture, you will notice: no speedo, windshield, or rear fenders.

Yes me cleaning it after the test run.

This is my latest Harley or SWEETHEART. My 2000 Heritage Softail Classic or FLSTC. It was my 40th B-day gift. The picture was taken in fall of 1999 on the Harley dealer's lot a month or so after I had picked her up.

First pic of me, I am some where between 18 and 20.
Second pic of me I am 26 to 28.
Last pic of me I am soon to be the big 40.
So in closing I age well - NO matter what the MRS says! LOL !rofl ha ha ha ha

Great bikes Tony  I dated a guy years ago that owned a Harely, I enjoyed riding. My uncle had a Triumph in the early 80's, I loved going for rides out to the lake with him(helmets had speakers for the radio! LOL ) And yeah, you've "aged" well ;-)

Thanks for sharing a bit about yourself... this would make a good "getting to know you" thread if other's care to share as well :-)

So do you watch alot of Orange Country Choppers? The Dad reminds me of my husband  He's got an 84 Wide Glide but he hasn't rode it in years...he bought a boat instead and spends his time, when he can, relaxing on the river.
