View Full Version : New Addition to the Family
After a long strugle with cancer we lost a dear Friend and Co-worker last week. His main concern was that his dog "Teddy" go to someone that he know would take care of him. So we offered to take him. We have babysat Teddy in the past for Buzz when needed. To-day Teddy came to his new home. He made himself right at home. We took him out to the yard to look around. Didn't he make a Splash :jaw:. Walked right off the edge of the pond & into the water for a swim. I think he got a bit of a shock ( as did the fish ) when he realized there was no bottom. Good thing I could reach him, pulled him out and he looked at me Like he was saying " Do you mind, I was swimming here " Here is a pic of Teddy # 2 as We have a Teddy #1. Works well. call one name get 2 dogs

Teddy #2 is very cute. Good of you to take him in. That is how we got Skipper. My sil had cancer and we were day caring him, as she became more ill she wanted to know he would have a home so we kept him. Smith threatens him with his sister will come and get him one day. I tell him that is a sick thing to say and he says, yeah but is true. Skipper is only 13.5 I hope she doesn't come and get him for a couple of more years at least. :yup:
Very cute. I love poms. Lucky puppy to have found a home under such sad circumstances. I hope he settles in quickly for you.

how great of you to take him in. I would think the dogs might get confused with the name thing. Yell at one they both get the blame. I should have thought of that with the kids, they were always blaming each other anyway
Thanks Everyone, for your kind words. I think he will settle in fine. But I don't think the pond will be a one time thing. We will have to teach him to stay out. He definitely can not go out there alone for now anyway.
