Thank you Bonnie. Its been a great day so far. Hubby bought me a new computer so I can stop cursing the one I have. He didn't realize that I would make him set it up for me, but what good is it in a box  :HAHA:
Tonight we have 'family' over so it will be fun. Told hubby he has to clean the house and he claims he's too busy setting up the new computer so thehouse will remain untidy :yup:

Thanks all it was a very good day and closed off with 'family' eating pizza and drinking beer. At least I didn't have to cook. We even broke open the single malt from Scotland.
As to age, I'm old and glad of it.
Crap, as usual I'm late. Happy belated birthday Jackie. Getting older is a whole lot better than the alternative. I wouldn't want to be young again, but I'd like to have a few less aches and pains. :HAHA:

I agree with the aches and pains. seem to be more of them all the time and no end in sight. But better ahes and pains then the fears and insecurities of the young.

Thanks Marla, yes I can't complain.... but I do. Hubby almost has everything transferred to the new computer. Now I have to learn Vista. The screen with this thing is as big as a TV!!! More options than I will ever use, mind that is if I get a chance to use it.... Smith seems quite happy with it :HAHA:
Hopefully more work on the pond today to get it level.

Thanks Fly. birthdays, cant' avoid them
Well officially up and running on Vista now, seems easy enough, the scanner wont work so something will have to be done about that at some point. Need to get used to the new keyboard...
but lots faster and with 640 gs I'll take a while to fill it

I bought mine last year before vista was in everything, I did not want to deal with the first year of a new product. Mine is vista capable. My scanner will not work with mine either it is to old and not windows tagged. Will have to get a new one, just don't want to add it any way and not have things work right. Problem is I'd like to get a laptop and now it will have to be vista probably.

KD, where in the heck have you been???? No excuses!! We miss you.
Marla I decided today I hate vista and I hate my new computer I miss my old one. Hubby has been at me for a year to get a new one, this is his way of forcing the issue. I'm sure by this time next year I will be happy but right now... my camera won't even talk to it. so much for plug and play. I think I can take the card out and use it but I like the little plug thing that worked so well before. I've wasted a good hour of garden time and still haven't posted pics of the pond progress.
Finally found where he put my files, Drive E!!!

... I had a brain transplant 2 months ago.... recovery has been slow - Been adapting to my new personality... Seems like the previous host of my brain was really into religion in a big way... Let me tell ya, reciting my daily rosary while slurping back martinis is a bit of a trick!!

Listen here big boy, when you are as old as I am, every day you wake up is your birthday. A week long celebration for each decade I believe, I have weeks yet to celebrate, just wish I had more cake.
