I'm looking for a good used stock tank. Rubbermade would be my first pick but would be willing to look at anything plastic. 300 gallons or bigger would also be great. Have 100 gallon rubbermade to sell or trade but can't go untill I find a bigger one to replace it.

Peg, Terri has large QT tanks at a good price.

We have farm and tractor stores around here that we buy ours from. If you happen to buy a galvanized tank, make sure you coat it with an epoxy paint.

Thanks Chris. I'll call Terri to see how big it is.
NC Thanks for the tip, that's were I got the one I have but the $$ differance from 100 to 300 gal is quite a bit so I thought I would try used first as I would also like to get a better filter system for the QT and would rather spend my money there.

Me too, does some of the coating leach into the water?

Something in the metal leaches in the water causing illness to the fish. epoxy paint is not harmful to the fish once it's cured.
