For Jackie

Photo's can be added if you have a photo host or web space where the pictures are located. Select the pic you wish to post and right click, choose Properties - a window will open for the image files properties - mouse-over the URL (http://) and right click(or hit ctrl C), select copy.

In the message pane at Koi Reflections click on the Img tag, then right click(or ctrl V) to paste your image files URL. Click on Close Tags . Repeat steps as necessary.
Hit Preview to see if your photo will post the way you intend it to. If it does, your done :) so hit submit once you've finished your message.

Plans are to put up a photo gallery here for members to use, this will happen over the next week or so. The above applies to this as well.

At present I'm searching for a MOD application to add to the forum so you are able to upload directly from your computer hard drive ... haven't found it yet

Thanks :D

Hi Jackie, this sounds like something I have to do on another forum that I frequent ( Not Koi related) :).

I use a site called photo bucket, I upload all my pics to there, then cut and paste to the forum.

Oh by the way congrats on your web site, I had a look the other day, and nicked some of your idea's on what floweres to plant.

Dayleen, I feel your pain. Pics only work half the time for me... Yet Terri can access the same pic form my website and using the same location it works for her...

You have to post the location of the pic, not the pic itself. Hope that helps

Terri has posted a series of pics on how to post pics at the top of each section. Have a read and see if that helps.

It's a multi-step process but it does work if all the steps are in a row..

Depends on which browser you use to get to the image file URL or location. Mostly it's a simple as clicking your RIGHT mouse button over the image, selecting PROPERTIES from the drop down menu - which opens another small window - using the LEFT mouse button drag your curser over the image URL or location then click your RIGHT mouse button and select copy. Paste that into the message boards post window and use the brackets/code below.

Here's the address or location of an image file http://backyardpuddle.com/forum/templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif

Use [] brackets not {} (have to use {img} or it won't show)

{img}http://backyardpuddle.com/forum/templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif{/img} <-- don't forget the backslash /
show's like this when using [] in place of {}
http://backyardpuddle.com/forum/templates/subSilver/images/logo_phpBB.gif <-- the image

The photo layout is easier, pictures tell the process better than I can type it LOL http://backyardpuddle.com/coppermine/index.php
