almost. Well we were on vacation last week and put the final rocks in place, bubbler stone working, but may need tweeking, bridge in and some plants transplanted. It got very hot so I stopped transplanting, didn't want to fry any more. DH is pleased, I like it to but have planting yet to do, next year it should be better. Added an 1800gph pump and homemade skimmer/filter. Have a gazzillion tadpoles, lots have been sucked in the skimmer mats but still plenty. Have heard at least 4 different types of frog/toad songs, the little tree frogs are the loudest. Best thing is I can walk the entire length of the house now inside and when the windows are open I can see and hear water, even in the bedroom. The falls and the pot have totaly different sounds but each is nice. A few lilies are blooming, but seeing as they are all splits from the main pond are smaller, I have one tropical about to bloom also. Even my first lotus bloomed today. Here are a few views to give you an idea.

looks great. Have any fish in the lilly pond or is it strictly lillies?

oh wow, marla it looks wonderful :) have you thought about some stonecrop varieties to soften the ponds edge? We have an abundance of tadpoles ourselves, toads, green frogs, and tree frogs.

Turned out beautiful Marla. I love the butterfly shot too.

Thanks, I'm really enjoying it now. Terri, yes the side of the pond nearest the house has transplants of 5 different sedums, and then also some blue fesscue grasses, and moss roses (that will return here if undisturbed) towards the back near the sweet williams is a daylily, then around to the back end are some lemon and creeping thyme transplants near the rocks , that I have by the main pond and DH likes how they look, and lobilia, daisies and beards tounge transplants for hieght. By the pot, tiger lilies to hide the hose, and the side with the trees is pretty unplanted except near the bridge I have some forget-me-nots, creeping jenny and the marigolds. The bachler buttons by the bird bath are begining to die back and then they will come out and something else in. Lots more to transplant, just been to hot.

Marla it looks like it has always been there. The two of you did a wonderful job, I hope mine comes out half as nice.

Jackie, everything I've seen you do looks supurb, so why would this be any different. Thanks for the compliments, still more planting to be done.

Well thank you Marla. I'm just tired of looking at the mess I suppose and the thought of moving all those rocks makes my back hurt. Neither of us is up to doing any chores today and he leaves for Scotland in a week!!!
