Look at the size of this Guy

Not to sure where to put theses pics. Was sitting next to the pond when this caught my eye. It was the size of it really. Went to get the camera and then realized it was some kind off hornet/wasp ?. HUGH :jaw: Never seen one this big. Pulled it out of the pond, didn't want the fish to get hold of it. It was about 1" long if not bigger.

Yum fish food. I frankly forget what they are called, white tailed wasps or something equally uninspiring. We usually get them every year but haven't seen one as yet. Mind been to busy to look..

Yes, koi can and do eat honets bees and wasps without any issues in my experience.
