Some June blooms

A few pics from the garden today. The red poppies have just started blooming. The pinks got wiped out by the storm today.
The last pic is the monkey flowers in a pot in the pond. The plant always looks horrible, but it blooms like crazy.

I bought a red poppy a couple of years ago and so far it is mostly dead. Moved it this year and am hoping for results next year. I moved the orange last year but can't remember where. The pink will open soon.

You garden looks terrific Cindy. Mine is a weed disaster.

You don't think I'd post pics of the weedy bits do you, trust me I have weeds in the rock garden that are taller than I am :lol: . Problem is I have to battle the mosquitos to pull them. The puppy has put a real cramp on gardening this year, another puppy to come the end of this month so if I don't get it done soon, it won't get done :banghead: . Thistles are a real problem in the rock garden, nasty things to pull and they are big.

I hear you on the thistles. a bumper crop this year that are pulled only to come up stronger than before. I'd post pics of flowers if there were some you could see over the weeds.

I bet the pup can't wait for a playmate!!!
