View Full Version : A perfect spring morning
Too many things have been keeping me from the garden this spring. Getting the new puppy on Friday hasn't helped any. Other than getting 70 rose bushes fed and the front beds cleaned up, everthing else has been left. Looks like the perfect day to get out there and play. I have a real love/hate relationship with spring. It's a whack of work, but it's wonderful to see everything come back to life.

Was just beautiful here also, but unfornunetly did not get any yard work done again. Had to get to my 90yr old mother-in-laws and clean the house, I have been neglecting getting over there and this week my Sister-in-law is coming in for a few days so I figured I better get it done, because I know I won't want to after work this week. Came home and realized how bad mine looked and started picking up.
We had a great day here too. Got a lot done but BOY! there is still so much to do. Will have to do a dump run soon. looks like I could cut the grass soon to.

Nothing done here but had a good time with Smith's sister and hubby. Their grandson was christened today, big lunch after, then dinner with the sis in law while we planned the trip to Scotland. Got a wonderful surprise, they are paying for our flight!!!! I knew there was something I really liked about them :yup: I'm still in shock at their generosity. They didn't even win the lottery or anything.
That's super Jackie. That should save you a fair chunk of change.
Best laid plans, little Baxter won't leave me alone, so the hubby is the only one who got stuff done outside. Baxter and I played and played some more. He's a mighty tired pup right now.

Puppies have two speeds go and drop. I will be happy when Buddy get past that stage and slows down just a bit. Buddy will be 4 in June so only 2 or so more years to go.
