I have a question for all you egg dyeing experts, how do you keep a nice uniform color on the entire egg when you remove it from the dye? It seems like if we put them in those drying racks where they come in contact with the cardboard it absorbs the color before it dries leaving a white ring around it and on the ends a drop of dye always ends up darkening one end of the egg more than the rest of it.

We always have the crappiest looking Easter eggs, I'm thinking of drying lightly with a paper towel and setting on tinfoil to not absorb color before it dries.

Help please!!!!! :crybaby:

You solved your own problem :yup: wipe the eggs off before setting them down. You can redip for darker colours.
