Hello,

Would like to kindly introduce myself to you all, if I may, that is. My name is Elizabeth, but my friends call me Betty or Mum, just depends on with whom I'm talking down to.

But here you can call me Koinanny, oh such fun.. free to be me... haven't had this much fun since Philip and I played "catch me, catch me" back in 62!

Now, I'm somewhat new to the koi world. I've been lurking here for several months, learning the terms, soaking in the knowledge and enjoying your photos (May I say, that KD of yours has a lovely pond...oh yes!!) Now, back to topic. Being an individual of high intellect with an innate ability to assess situations rather well. I can, and could tell immediately, that Koidaddy is your leader ... such wisdom and clarity of speech resonates throughout his posting... not unlike our dear and departed Winston Churchill ~ Now, that being said, this is a twist for old Betty, I'm used to pulling them in on a real when at Balmoral, not caring for them as pets (oh dear, hope I haven't offended anyone) so please use patience while I'm under your tutelage in the keeping of Japanese Koi fish.

I'll be popping in and out when duty permits! Happy to welcome myself aboard. :)

Must go now... Off to visit Charlie & "It" for a wee sherry or two!
Ta!

Goodbye Koinanny, :crybaby: So sorry to hear you're leaving us for a 5 year mud pond build somewhere in China.... and please, leave that handbag on shore! Nothing worse than a queen with a dirty handbag (I've seen it, not pretty)

Please keep in touch... you have my personal e-mail.

Goodday koinanny, Welcome to this side of the pond. When you get a moment from your tour, post a picture of your pond, we would love to see it.

Good Day Walter,

I'm wanting to expand, but unfortunately I'm off to the mud ponds of Japan within days... for 5 years, no less.

Here is my most recent photo taken last year - I've been working in the cellar throughout the Winter season making my DIY filtration along with some knicker knocking vodka (distilling, another hobby of mine) Again, unfortunately, installation will have to wait until my return in 2012... Nanny likes to wheel her own barrow :yup:

Cheers!
