View Full Version : Greenhouse down
Well bad enough we have had all this cold and snow and it seems it will never go away, I lost my new greenhouse to the snow. Went to clear off the snow only to discover that the snow had buckled the ROOF  NEVER EVEN GOT 1 SPRING OUT OF IT. Peter thinks he may be able to do someting with it, and I love him for thinkg so, but it's pretty bad. I think if it is not repairable I'd like to keep the floor and tile it so the swing can sit there and be surronded by garden. Have I ever told you I HATE WINTER!

Now that's a real bummer. Hopefully Peter can do something with it. I'd check the warranty as well. The big box stores like HD may take it back and exchange it.

SORRY FOR YOUR LUCK. THE FISH OK. GOT DAMN COLD THE OTHER NIGHT. HOPE THERE WASN'T TOO MUCH OF A TEMP SHOCK. BTW WHERE ARE THE PICS OF THE NEW FISH.
Thanks folks, I really hope Peter can do someting with it. Only warmer weather will tell. The fish are good so far temp doesn"t seem to swing to bad in the cover. The ice is about 1/8-1/4" thick and the hole has opened up quite a bit. Got see Magma, Fly & Mr Big today. Just for you Chris  here are the new guys. The Yamabuka is Pete's. He has named it ZERO. The Rin Gin Showa/maybe Sanke, were not sure as Terri is looking into it for us, is mine. I think I am naming him Katsumoto, not sure yet. We are still looking for one more for this spring. A real pretty RinGin Platinum Ogon Butterfly.

Hi
Nice looking fish, Hope you find the Butterfly in time for spring
Debbie
Thanks Debbie.
I'm hoping that the lighter coloured fish will help show off my Doitsu Magoi better as he is very pretty but very dark and hard to see.

Let me know how it works out. I have several black ones in the pond currently. skittish things that one barely sees.

Newbie, those 2 are beautiful. the one on the right looks a lot like one of mine, one quirk I liked about it is one eye is looks blue and the other black.
Thanks Marla. Peter has been looking for the Yamabuki for some time now And that one caught his eye. Its name is Zero. The other one is mine, I really like this one and I want to see how his pattern changes. See if it does what I think it will.

Well here is an update pic of the green house :( . Looks better in the pic then it really is. You can see that the pic I took is from above, thats me standing on the snow on the deck. Railing is 36" high and the snow is the same height. The 2nd pick is the pond. And the 3rd OH ! LOOK I SEE FISH   Got to see all five today and they look good just coasting around and my how they have grown.

Ouch, what type of panels are on the greenhouse. Ice, I can't even see any it's burried under 20" of snow and more coming this week. Boy I can't wait for spring seems to be a longer wait every year.
