Haven't answered many posts anywhere lately, typing is a very slow process. 3 weeks ago, had my left wrist put in a thumb spica cast due to some torn tendons in the base of my thumb/wrist. I keep hitting the space bar so it slows me down so much I have not posted. Seeing as no one is on yet tonight and I have made progress, by learning to hold my hand up higher, and at a slight angle (however my shoulder gets sore) thought I'd have a go at a few posts. Forgive my absence, I am reading just not posting.

Sorry to hear about the hand, but don't worry about typing mistakes, people learn toread through mine all the time. My space bar needs to be banged to work and often I don't hit it hard enough.
Torn tendons, that's gotta hurt. I know a lot of programmers that are quite fast at one finger typing. You'll probably pick up some of thier bad habits. I hope it heals up fast for you.

A good 3 weeks yet in this. Hope I don't pick up 1 finger habits. Switched my job area at work, the Dr. says the repetitiveness of the job will ultimitly cause me to have continual tendenitis if I continue now that I've severly injured them already. Bad part of it is I'll get less hours or have to scronge hours up, but spring is coming and some time off for spring and summer is nice. If I get to little, I'll start looking for something different, still have not decided what I want to be when I gorw up.

Yes, now is the time to be working and saving up for time off in the spring. Another 3 weeks... that's a long time. Hopefully hubby is doing the dishes.
