!rofl darn...

Wow, love the two coloured lily! I miss my lilies, had a nice 'small' collection going at the Oshawa house, I only brought the Japanese Toad Lily with us - and this year it hasn't come up :( ... there's a new garden in the plans here and I think lilies will be included!

Everyone should have a lilly garden. Reminds us to stop and look at what is really important. LIFE in all its forms :)

lilies in all their varieties are important to the garden. The turks caps hit almost 7 feet tall this year.... needs staking and I always forget...

Lilies can be planted under the spring bulbs. So if you have a patch of tulips or daffodils, lift them and plant the lilies underneath, lots of compost and bone meal and replant the spring bulbs.

Plant early lilies under ealy tulips and late ones under late tulips. Or crocus are another bulb that can be heavily underplanted.
