this is a sand-filter, without the sand, and no pump.
i tried it the first year, filled with bio-balls, using a low preasure pump
didn't really work, maybe with some air injected.
looking for DIY local, shipping would be a pain..
$75 or best offer..

Louis, what kind of pump would it need?

i had it filled with bio-balls and the P-master 750gph,
it flowed through o.k., but it wasn't doing what i wanted,
when i cleaned it out in the fall it smelled bad, something more powerful could backflush it, and air injection for the bacteria might work.

Hey Jackie, sorry for the 'never replied too mee!' I just happened to be browsing and saw your Q. (i thought i was suppose to get an email about it.?)
I tried to use it as a filter with 1" bio-balls, and didn't work, i don't think it would work with the larger pump. Being designed for high-preasure applications it just slows the water flow. (too much head from sand, and smaller pipping internally) i wonder if it would do any good if i put the high-amp pump on it, filled it with sand and just let it run for 1 day a week?
