Although the other tree peony is a bit earlier this ones blooms a dnner plate sized. I put the dogs in the pic to set the size but other than cute they were not cooperative at all... wanted to sniff the camera.

No the koi will spawn on Saturday night.... tonight they are very quiet, might be the salt peter I put in the water

Looking forward to meeting you Chris. Too bad you can't stay but I understand the long trip home. Every time I feed Marm i miss her more.

Chris, it was great to meet you and your very lovely lady. Thanks for taking the fish back to Montreal and thanks for the call letting me know they arrived safe. Next time you'll have to stay for lunch and a beverage.

JoJo the herbaceous peonies are open now although some are still in bud. The tree ones are much earlier here and are fnished sadly. Yes, poor Marmalade, gone to a new home. Pond seems so empty without out her but I am not missing the extra female to spawn. 1.5 done new and everyone having a rest

Be sure to share your peonies when they boom.
